Sowing methods D SYSTEMDISC FOR CONVENTIONAL SOWING
Single-disc seeding coulters are designed to ensure precise seed placement under conventional sowing conditions. They adapt well to the terrain and are less sensitive to plant residues than simpler coulters, although they vary in terms of performance requirements and working capacity.
The single-disc system uses a concave opening disc with a diameter of 325 mm, made from wear-resistant material, which allows the furrow to be opened gently and maintains good sowing quality on prepared land and even where there is some crop residue. It is a lightweight coulter that adapts well to the terrain, primarily suited to farms practising conventional sowing and seeking a simple, effective solution.
It can be fitted with an optional adjustable rear depth control wheel, which improves planting consistency.
From an agronomic perspective, it promotes consistent crop establishment when the soil is well managed. The simple disc is particularly suitable when lightness and good adaptation to the terrain are required on prepared fields.
