Photography Contest Rules

1. OBJECTIVE

The photography contest seeks to capture the essence, values, and environment of SOLÀ: products, details, elements, people, or landscapes that showcase or speak to our brand within the world around it.
 

2. PARTICIPANTS AND CATEGORIES

The contest is divided into two categories:

  • Category 1: SOLÀ Staff. SOLÀ employees are eligible to participate.

  • Category 2: Open to everyone. You can participate if: You own a Solà seeder, you know where one is located and want to photograph it, you know someone who works with or is connected to it, or you live in our local area and are inspired by our work.

 

3. THEME

The contest theme is “SOLÀ World.” Images that capture its essence, philosophy, and relationship with its surroundings will be evaluated.

 

4. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

  • Photographs must have been taken during the year 2026.

  • Each participant may submit a maximum of 3 photographs.

  • Images must be in digital format with a maximum file size of 12 Mb.

  • Entries must be original and unpublished.

  • When processing the photographs, adjustments typical of digital editing (white balance, exposure, levels, contrast, saturation, focus, vignette removal) are permitted, as well as the removal of dust particles and moderate cropping. Alterations or manipulations of the image or any part thereof are not permitted.

  • The photo file must be named with the participant’s name, the corresponding category, and the title (e.g., “First Name_Last Name_Category_Title.jpg”).

5. SUBMITTING ENTRIES

Photographs must be submitted using the form found below the rules. 

Deadline for submitting photographs: November 22, 2026
 

6. JURY AND EVALUATION CRITERIA

The jury will consist of members of SOLÀ. The evaluation criteria will be: 

  • Originality and creativity.

  • Technical quality.

  • Relevance to the contest theme.

  • Visual impact.

7. PRIZES

The following prizes will be awarded for each category:

1st Prize: €150
2nd Prize: €100
3rd Prize: €50

The winners will be announced on November 27th, 2026, on the SOLÀ website.
The winning photographs will be published in SOLÀ’s annual calendar, and each winner will receive a calendar as part of the prize.   

8. COPYRIGHT AND ASSIGNMENT OF RIGHTS

By participating, the authors assign the rights to their works to SOLÀ, which may use them in communications materials, publications, or on social media, always crediting the author.
Participants guarantee that they are the original authors of the images and that they do not infringe upon any third-party rights.
 

9. AWARDS CEREMONY

The awards ceremony will take place in December, on a date to be determined.
 

10. ACCEPTANCE OF THE RULES

Participation in this contest implies full acceptance of these rules. Any matter not covered by these rules will be resolved by the jury and the organizers.
