The strategic alliance between the two companies is already a reality on the ground, with machines delivered throughout 2026 and a very positive outlook for the coming years
Extensive Processes and Dialogue
After a lengthy process of dialogue and negotiation, the partnership between SOLÀ and SKY officially began in late 2024. Today, this alliance has already resulted in machines operating in the field and new growth opportunities for both companies.
Strengthening Ties Through Machine Delivery
The partnership with SKY became effective following the signing of an agreement between the two companies in December 2024, culminating a process of discussions and negotiations that lasted more than a year and a half. The agreement stipulates that SOLÀ manufactures our high-precision VELOX single-seed planters, which SKY markets under the SONIC brand and adapts to its corporate identity. However, all manufacturing takes place entirely at our facilities, maintaining the standards of quality, technology, and precision that characterize our machines.
In 2026, we began to put this collaboration into action with the delivery of the first units intended for various agricultural seasons. Initially, an order was placed to cover the main planting season, from January through April. Subsequently, SKY reaffirmed its confidence in our project with a new order for additional units intended for the summer rapeseed season.
A large number of machines have been delivered this year, confirming the strong start of this partnership and the excellent reception the product is receiving in the market.
Looking Ahead
The outlook for 2027 is particularly promising. We plan to continue with deliveries, and we also expect an increase in activity starting in the first months of the year, strengthening a partnership that represents a significant opportunity for growth and expansion for both companies, SOLÀ and Burel Solutions.
