The Spanish Association for Conservation Agriculture and Living Soils is celebrating its 30th anniversary in Córdoba
This week, the AEAC.SV celebrated its 30th anniversary, made possible by the collective efforts of its members, farmers, technicians, researchers, partner organizations, and friends of the association. The event took place at its headquarters in Córdoba.
SOLÀ Receives a Well-Deserved Recognition
During the association’s celebration, our company, Maquinaria Agrícola Solà, S.L., received recognition for its contribution to the development of conservation agriculture. This award was warmly welcomed by the entire SOLÀ team, as we have been committed to agricultural research since our inception, supporting various associations such as this one.
Tribute to Key Figures in the Sector
The event included a tribute to various individuals who are no longer with us but who played an essential role in the association’s early days. In this regard, we would like to highlight the recognition given to Ramon Cambray, who served as SOLÀ’s national sales representative and supported the association for many years.
The documentary highlights that they were pioneers in advocating for conservation agriculture techniques, promoting them through the company, research, the field, and associations. They adapted the agricultural sector to the new realities of Europe.
Conservation Agriculture
Conservation agriculture is a sustainable production system comprising a set of agronomic practices adapted to crop requirements and the local conditions of each region; these practices are known as no-till farming and cover cropping. In fact, at SOLÀ we have many different machines dedicated to no-till farming, such as the MAGDA-NT, SM, SM-P, and SD-3115, among others.
