We gathered more than 500 attendees at the conference on planting and agricultural yields.

The technical conferences consolidated in Calaf reinforce its role as a key meeting point for the agricultural sector.

Last May, we held a new edition of "Sowing well done", our technical and practical conferences focused on sowing and agricultural yields.
The event, which took place at our facilities in Calaf during the week of May 22 to 28, brought together more than 500 attendees, consolidating itself as an essential event for farmers and professionals in the sector.

A space for sharing knowledge and experiences

With the aim of bringing together applied agronomic knowledge and promoting the exchange between professionals, the conference brought together farmers, technicians, distributors and specialists from different parts of the territory.

During both meetings, attendees had the opportunity to learn first-hand about the SOLÀ factory, discover the company's latest innovations and, above all, share real field experiences with other professionals in the sector.

Technical training and field demonstrations

The program combined different formats to offer a complete and practical experience:

  • Guided tours of the facilities
  • Specialized technical sessions with the machines in static operation
  • Field demonstrations

Field demonstrations were one of the highlights of the event. Participants were able to see the MAGDA-NT, Vesta coulter and Veloxseed drills in operation , as well as learn more about key aspects such as:

  • Optimization of the seeding process
  • Adjustment of the machinery according to crop and plot.
  • Agronomic factors that affect the final yield.

Seeding as the key to agricultural success

Under the premise that "a good harvest starts with a well-done sowing", the conference once again highlighted this phase as a determining factor for crop yields.
The practical approach allowed attendees not only to acquire technical knowledge, but also to compare real experiences and resolve doubts directly with the SOLÀ team and other professionals in the sector.

Ginevra Solà, CEO of SOLÀ, highlighted the great reception of the event:

"From SOLÀ we are very satisfied with the response that these conferences have had. Being able to bring together so many people around agronomic knowledge, innovation and the exchange of experiences confirms that the sector is eager to meet, share and continue moving forward together to face the challenges of today's agriculture".

Beyond the technical: networking and community

In addition to the technical content, the conference also included meeting spaces that favored networking among attendees. These moments were key to generate conversations, exchange ideas and strengthen links within the sector.

International presence at the conferences

SOLÀ had the opportunity to receive the visit of the international dealers KRM (United Kingdom) and Quivogne CEE (Austria, with dealers from different locations such as Hungary, Ukraine...) within the framework of the "Sowing well done" days. All dealers and international customers were able to take advantage of this date to get closer to us, deepen in specialized topics directly with our commercial and technical staff, see first hand the manufacture of the machines we sell and enjoy the city of Barcelona.

Festive atmosphere and great participation

The technical sessions and agronomic knowledge were not the only protagonists of the conference, and on May 22 we were able to enjoy a lively afternoon, a more relaxed space that brought together a large number of attendees in a close and relaxed atmosphere.

The live music, by SOMBOITS and Els Tets, provided a festive character that turned the day into a complete experience, beyond the technical content. The high attendance also in this final stretch confirms the growing interest in this type of initiatives that combine knowledge, networking and community. Attendees were also able to enjoy the gastronomy thanks to the presence of two food trucks that livened up the afternoon.

Strengthening links and objectives

With this conference, from SOLÀ, we reinforce the link with Calaf and the territory and also continue betting on innovation, proximity and knowledge transfer as fundamental tools to contribute to the development of an increasingly efficient, competitive and sustainable agriculture.
